UFV Eleva 1

Power Plant Supervision System

With over 30 years of experience in the electricity market, Altus was contracted to provide the monitoring system for the Eleva 1 Photovoltaic Plant, located in the municipality of Itaguaí, in the state of Rio de Janeiro.

UFV Eleva 1 Supervision System

The Eleva 1 Photovoltaic Plant is a project comprised of 13 solar parks, 12 dedicated to microgeneration and 1 to minigeneration of electricity.

To meet the operational needs of this complex, the Altus Engineering team developed and implemented a complete supervision and control system, consisting of a local SCADA interface for real-time configuration and monitoring of the solar plant, acquisition, processing and visualization of operational and energy data, and concentration and transmission of information to the operations center, enabling remote and centralized management of the project.

The solution is based on a server with the BluePlant SCADA/HMI application and an SQL Server Express database, with the server interconnected to field devices via MODBUS/TCP, ensuring efficiency, reliability and complete visibility of the plant’s performance, reinforcing Altus’ role as a strategic partner in the development of renewable energy technologies and the advancement of distributed generation in Brazil.
