FerrobaseWEB

Railway Loading Base Upgrade

Ipiranga, the largest private fuel distribution company in Brazil, with more than 7,500 service stations spread across the country, has upgraded the automation system of some of its rail refueling units using FerrobaseWEB technology.

Refueling Unit Control System

Our engineering team led the development and implementation of FerrobaseWEB at Ipiranga’s rail refueling units. The system was specifically designed to manage locomotive fueling operations with high levels of reliability, traceability, and operational safety.

Developed for the railway sector, FerrobaseWEB is derived from AutobaseWEB, Altus’ consolidated solution for fuel loading control. This adaptation enables the company to oversee the entire refueling process, from authorization and measurement to reporting and integration with corporate systems.

With a web-based architecture and centralized data management, the platform enhances operational transparency, reduces the risk of human error, and ensures strict compliance with safety and environmental standards in rail fuel operations.

Discover the AutobaseWEB Refueling Control System

AutobaseWEB combines a web-based system, built on Oracle and JAVA platforms, with Altus' proprietary HMI/SCADA software, BluePlant. This system manages access to the loading base and product transfer operations through an online graphical interface.

It provides secure, reliable control over the entire process of loading and transporting fuel for road, rail, and maritime vehicles, from order entry to final delivery at the station.

System features and capabilities

AutobaseWEB offers a wide range of features, such as interfaces for registering trucks, drivers, cards, and transport companies. These tools enable operators to check if a truck’s paperwork is up to date before authorizing loading or dispatch.

Similarly, the driver’s credentials are verified, including license category, expiration, MOPP certification, and the validity of NR10 and NR35 certificates. In addition to offering full control over the loading process, AutobaseWEB seamlessly integrates with the company’s ERP software, allowing fast and secure data exchange.
