Braskem AutobaseWeb

Fuel Loading Control System

The Altus Engineering team was responsible for designing and implementing Braskem's new fuel loading system, leveraging the company’s expertise in programmable controllers and the AutobaseWeb system.

Sistema de Controle de Carregamento de Combustíveis

AutobaseWeb Braskem is a system developed by Altus specialists based on the company’s marketed products.

It consists of a SCADA interface that manages all the hardware, controlling loads and providing real-time data, and a web interface for registering and configuring all the data necessary for the process and customizing the database.

The AutobaseWeb system operates on three servers: the first is dedicated to the Oracle Database and the TomCat web application server, while the second and third are reserved for the BluePlant software, networked with the unit’s presets, TEDs, and PLCs.

Orders can be placed through Ipiranga’s corporate system via WebService or directly through the web interface, allowing access and order input from any of the company’s plants. From that point, all base access and loading operations are automated, with full visibility of order status through any commercial web browser, and real-time monitoring of the loading process via the SCADA interface.

Altus delivered a range of specialized services for this project, including the development of BluePlant supervision screens. Our engineering team designed touchscreen interfaces for tablet operation and built web pages to streamline remote monitoring.

We also implemented an optimized database and integrated flow controllers with other field equipment. To ensure smooth operation, we provided comprehensive training and hands-on support, enabling Braskem’s team to fully leverage the system’s capabilities in a safe and efficient manner.

Supplied equipment

Supplied equipment

We supplied and installed a range of equipment for Braskem, including four 21-inch LCD monitors, two operational desktops, three servers, a report printer, and a loading ticket printer.

For the control and communication system, we use NX and Ponto Series PLCs, Connect line industrial switches, barcode readers, barcode and RFID readers, FQI Daniel DANLOAD6000, FQI Daniel DANLOAD8000, FQI ACCULOAD and FQI UNIDATA, as well as Ethernet, RS-485 and Fiber Optic cables and connectors.

Additionally, we installed three data entry terminals with touchscreen HMIs, providing a robust and reliable infrastructure to support their operations.
