Hannover Messe 2026: Altus presents the latest portfolio solutions in Germany

Following our schedule of major events, Altus confirms its participation in Hannover Messe 2026, the world’s largest industrial technology stage, taking place from April 20 to 24 in the city of Hannover, Germany.

In this edition, Brazil will be the official partner country, an opportunity to showcase the strength, innovation, and competitiveness of the national industry to the world.

Altus will be at Hall 26, Stand G35, within the ApexBrasil pavilion, alongside a prominent delegation that brings together approximately 300 companies and major names in the sector to reinforce Brazilian innovations on the global technology stage.

In line with the event’s theme, “Energizing a Sustainable Industry,” Altus brings to Hannover a portfolio developed to meet the most demanding sectors of the industry, raising performance, connectivity, and operational intelligence standards through increasingly advanced automation equipment. In addition to our booth, Hall 26 will feature several must-see experiences: one of the main highlights is the “AI Experience Pavilion,” dedicated to companies presenting real-world Artificial Intelligence applications for manufacturing, from research to industrial scale. The space also hosts the “Industrial Security Circus,” focused on industrial cybersecurity, offering an excellent update opportunity for professionals from all technology areas.

Among the highlights of our booth will be:

New Nexto XF Series

The new Nexto XF Series as a whole stands out for its high density of onboard I/Os in a smart and compact design, offering up to 44 integrated points in a single controller among digital and analog inputs and outputs, depending on the chosen model (contact our sales team to check product availability).

For larger applications that demand more I/O points, the system can be easily expanded through expansion modules coupled to the CPU bus. Flexibility extends even further with the use of the various field networks available in the Nexto XF Series, allowing the combination of local I/Os with remote (distributed) devices communicating via protocols such as CANopen, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, and MODBUS TCP/RTU.

Just like the renowned NX3008 CPU, the XF Series continues to offer application virtualization via Docker and security features such as native Firewall and VPN on the CPU, which are easily configurable by the user.

NX3035: redundant controller for maximum reliability

Designed for critical environments, the NX3035 combines high processing performance with a hot-standby redundancy architecture, ensuring continuous operation even under adverse conditions.

Based on a 64-bit architecture with high-performance ARM technology, the NX3035 is capable of supporting sophisticated systems with a high number of input and output points.

Its main differentiator lies in its native support for hot-standby redundancy mode. In critical applications, such as dynamic positioning and main engine control, the failure of a single controller cannot compromise the operation. In this scenario, the NX3035 ensures process continuity through transparent switching between controllers.

Furthermore, the equipment features two SFP interfaces dedicated exclusively to redundancy synchronization, enabling the use of fiber optic transceivers to interconnect the controllers at distances of up to 10 kilometers. This characteristic ensures electrical isolation and enables the installation of CPUs in separate compartments, increasing system reliability against localized events, such as fires.

NX3008: a global CPU for your business

Still within the Nexto NX Series, we will feature the NX3008, a high-performance CPU with advanced security features, high capacity for modular architectures connected to NX and NJ modules, and virtualization via Docker. It is a complete solution for systems requiring broad connectivity, delivering performance and versatility for the most varied demands.

This CPU has 3 Ethernet ports, one of which is Gigabit and two with support for the PROFINET Controller protocol, allowing the controller to be used in an MRP ring architecture network.

Another advanced feature available is its embedded Docker platform. This native CPU resource makes software virtualization possible. This provides more versatility and speed to the system operation, as it allows for the processing of multiple data points within the CPU itself.

Operate in the IoT universe with the Nexto XP Series

In addition to the innovations already presented in Altus’ portfolio, the Nexto XP Series compact PLCs remain the ideal cost-benefit solution to meet the demands of highly connected environments.

With embedded Ethernet, RS-485, CAN, and USB communication interfaces, these PLCs support a wide list of communication protocols, such as MODBUS TCP and RTU, PROFINET, CANopen, J-1939, IEC 60870-5-104, EtherNet/IP, OPC DA, OPC UA, and MQTT.

The XP340 model is a compact, high-I/O-density solution designed for stand-alone and distributed applications. Its DIN rail mounting design makes it perfect for limited spaces in control panels. The XP340 also features WebServer support, a tool that allows the creation of supervision and application monitoring screens without the need for a SCADA system.
