Altus was contracted to retrofit the Digital Supervision and Control System of the Vento de Palmares Wind Farm, reinforcing our presence in the renewable energy sector and our ability to modernize critical systems with cutting-edge technology and customized solutions.

Development of the new digital supervision and control system.

With the goal of connecting the Ventos de Palmares Wind Farm to the electrical distribution system, Altus provided a complete control, protection, and data acquisition solution for both the plant and the Lagoa do Quintão Energy Substation, both located in Rio Grande do Sul.

This solution was essential to: protect and control the substations involved in the connection between the plant and the CEEE-D transmission system; ensure the safe and efficient flow of energy generated by the wind farm; and enable the integration of generation into the utility’s distribution system, ensuring compliance with technical and operational requirements.

With this delivery, Altus once again demonstrated its expertise in the electricity sector, actively contributing to the strengthening of renewable energy infrastructure and the expansion of the sustainable energy matrix in Brazil.
