Extruder Machines

The HMIs supplied by Altus played a central role in the modernization of three extrusion machines responsible for producing PVC pipes at one of the company’s facilities. With a total of 60 screens and a wide range of operator-configurable parameters, the project required a large, high-performance platform capable of managing complex operations with agility and stability.

By integrating 12″ panels from the X2 PRO family, the most advanced HMI series adopted in the solution, the machines achieved significant gains in processing speed and overall performance. The new interface also streamlined data entry and enabled real-time monitoring of critical process variables such as speed, temperature, and flow rate.
