From May 4 to 7, 2026, Altus will be present at another edition of the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), held at NRG Park in Houston. Recognized as the world’s premier Oil & Gas showcase, the event gathers the industry’s leading players to discuss the technologies shaping the future of offshore energy.
As a global meeting point for industry professionals, OTC emphasizes the pivotal role that oil and gas, alongside emerging offshore energy sources, play in building a more sustainable and energy-secure future, as offshore exploration continues to fuel economies and power industries worldwide.
With a track record of strong performance in both onshore and offshore sectors, and solid expertise in automation and process control, Altus will present technologies designed to enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability in critical operations, contributing directly to the sector’s evolution.
Currently, our products are responsible for controlling 20% of Brazil’s total O&G production and 30% of Pre-Salt production, operating across 27 automated platforms and accounting for 3% of the global FPSO market, reaffirming our position as a strategic partner to the industry.
Where to Find Us: The Brazil Pavilion
Brazilian companies will be concentrated in a single area, facilitating networking and the visibility of national technologies.
The Altus team of specialists will be at Booth 4131, located within the Brazil Pavilion (organized by ApexBrasil) inside NRG Park.
Among the highlights at our booth will be
New Nexto XF Series
The Nexto XF series stands out for its high density of onboard I/O within a smart, compact design, offering up to 44 integrated points in a single controller, including digital and analog inputs and outputs, depending on the model (please consult our sales team to verify product availability).

For larger applications requiring more I/O points, the system can be easily expanded using expansion modules connected to the CPU backplane. Flexibility is further enhanced by the various field networks available in the Nexto XF series, allowing the combination of local I/O with remote (distributed) devices communicating via protocols such as CANopen, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, and MODBUS TCP/RTU.
Following the footsteps of the renowned NX3008 CPU, the XF series continues to offer application virtualization via Docker and security features such as a native Firewall and VPN built into the CPU, both easily configurable by the user.

NX3035: redundant controller for maximum reliability
Designed for critical environments, the NX3035 combines high processing performance with a hot-standby redundancy architecture, ensuring continuous operation even under adverse conditions.
Based on a 64-bit architecture with high-performance ARM technology, the NX3035 is capable of supporting sophisticated systems with a high number of I/O points.

Its primary differentiator is native support for hot-standby redundancy mode. In critical applications, such as dynamic positioning (DP) and main engine control, the failure of a single controller cannot compromise the operation. In this scenario, the NX3035 ensures process continuity through bumpless (transparent) switching between controllers.
Additionally, the device features two SFP interfaces dedicated exclusively to redundancy synchronization, allowing the use of fiber optic transceivers to interconnect controllers at distances of up to 10 kilometers. This feature ensures electrical isolation and enables the installation of CPUs in separate compartments, increasing system reliability against localized events, such as fires.

NX3008: A Global CPU for Your Business
Still within the Nexto NX series, we feature the NX3008, a high-performance CPU with advanced security features, high capacity for modular architectures, connected to NX and NJ modules, and virtualization via Docker. It serves as a complete solution for systems requiring extensive connectivity, delivering performance and versatility for the most diverse demands.
This CPU features three Ethernet ports, including one Gigabit port and two with PROFINET Controller support, allowing the controller to be used within a network with an MRP ring architecture.
Another advanced feature available is its onboard Docker platform. This native resource enables software virtualization, providing greater versatility and speed to system operations by allowing the processing of multiple data streams directly within the CPU itself.

Operate in the IoT Universe with the Nexto XP Series
In addition to the latest additions to the Altus portfolio, Nexto XP compact PLCs remain the ideal cost-benefit solution to meet the demands of highly connected environments.
Featuring onboard Ethernet, RS-485, CAN, and USB communication interfaces, these PLCs support a wide range of communication protocols, including MODBUS TCP and RTU, PROFINET, CANopen, J-1939, IEC 60870-5-104, EtherNet/IP, OPC DA, OPC UA, and MQTT.

The XP340 model is a compact, high-I/O density solution designed for both stand-alone and distributed applications. Its DIN rail mount design makes it perfect for limited spaces within control panels. The XP340 also features Web Server support, a tool that enables the creation of supervisory and application monitoring screens without the need for a dedicated SCADA system.

ArchiteX: Software to Optimize Industrial Asset Management
ArchiteX is a software developed to function as an FDT Frame Application, a technology that enables communication between industrial devices from different manufacturers. It allows for the configuration, maintenance, and diagnostics of intelligent industrial automation equipment, eliminating the need for multiple interfaces for different devices.

The primary advantage of ArchiteX is its ability to integrate and manage assets in a centralized manner, providing greater control and efficiency in industrial operations. Furthermore, this software also enables the creation of network topologies, where devices are organized and represented graphically, facilitating navigation and the rapid identification of each asset within the production process.
